Client Consultation & Brief

PHASE 1

Phase 1 - Design Process Day Creative

This is the exciting part, the beginning of the design process where we are able to grasp a full understanding of the exiting space and where you would like the design to take it.

Following this meeting the Client will be given a bespoke proposal outlining the brief summary of our discussions along with an imagery board illustrating the feel and direction of style we visualise the design to work to.

Concept Layout

PHASE 2

Phase 2 - Design Process Day Creative

Before diving into any garden project, careful planning and layout design are essential.

Consider the available space, outlining different zones, such as seating areas, pathways, and plant beds.

This initial step will help you visualize the overall design and ensure a thoughtful and function layout as an initial platform to discuss.

Design Development

PHASE 3

Phase 3 - Design Process Day Creative

Once the masterplan has been approved the design and details can then be developed. This incapsulates the whole sense of the design and style.

This is the time to delve into the material specifications, planting palettes and furniture mood boards so to create the overall vision and style of the garden.

PHASE 4

Soft & Hard Landscaping Details

Phase 4 - Design Process Day Creative

An effective planting scheme is essential to the overall composition of a garden; creating form, movement and interest throughout the design so that all areas come together and sing. A plant list will be designed to reflect the different aspects of the garden and the form, colours and textures needed for that specific space.

Our usual practise is to come out and place the planting ourselves, similar to an artist painting a picture, however we also provide comprehensive planting plans for Clients who wish to undertake the planting themselves.

PHASE 5

Creation

Phase 5 - Design Process Day Creative

Time for the garden to be created – this element is a specialised area and requires a range of skills and it is extremely important to use experienced and knowledgeable landscapers to avoid any disappointment.

We are able take on the project management for the building of your garden that includes regular site visits and conversations with both the contractors and client.

With this there would be a firm element of control ensuring that the project is run well and on schedule, that it remains within budget and is organised and delivered to the high standard expected.

Completion

PHASE 6

Phase 6 - Design Process Day Creative

The garden is now complete!! Exciting times and a wonderful time to enjoy the space and all the relaxation it will lend. It is however also a time to be mindful of how to maintain the garden so that it will continue to give - with this we are able to organise a reliable and experienced Maintenance company to provide a contract to visit the garden and keep it up to standard.

We will also of course continue to be invested in the gardens progress, giving seasonal advice on how to care and get the best out of your garden.
