Vanessa Day
Founder & Design Director
Vanessa originally drew her inspiration from initially working with the Royal Horticultural Society on the logistical side of the award-winning Chelsea and with a diploma in Landscape and Garden Design @ KLC. With a background in Fine Art and brought up in a design family of Architects and Interior Designers – Garden Design seemed a natural path to follow.
Passionate about design and the process of creating unique settings in which to disappear into, Vanessa has worked as a Garden Designer for nearly 15 years. Starting at RK Alliston Studios where she was trained and then went into partnership with colleague and friend to establish her own company Lilly and Day.
In addition to this Vanessa is also the Creative Consultant to Cameron Gardens, a large and thriving Garden Design Studio. This is a dynamic and rewarding role which has given her a wealth of experience on larger commercial projects such as Annabel’s- Birley Group, Soho House Members Club, The Ivy Group & The Nomad Hotel to name a few.
Building a portfolio of both residential and commercial projects which have taken her nationwide as well as all over the world.
Passionate about plants, gardens and landscapes and believes the beauty of gardens comes from conveying the essence of nature.
